Kill Bill: Top of the tops in the Α1! (vid)

Vassilis Spanoulis broke one more record! With the 13 points he scored in the game against Panionios, he reached 5,205 points with the Basket League and became the player with the most points scored for the Leauge.

Up until today, the record was held by Nikos Chatzis, who now ranks 2nd seed of the said category with 5,200 points.
Did you know that…

* He scored his first bucket for the A1 category on September 29, 2001 with the Maroussi jersey and was his only one in that game! VSpan had played for 8':18'' in the game against PAOK (PAOK had won 86-84) and had scored 2 points with 1/1 field goal and 0/1 threes..


* His first basket wearing the Olympiacos jersey for the Greek League was scored on October 23, 2010 in the road game against Aris (Olympiacos had won 78-65). The captain had played an excellent game with 20p. (3/4 free throws, 4/6 field goals and 3/5 3p. in 32':57'').


* His most productive night was that of January 5, 2011, when Olympiacos had won Kolossos in Rhodes (71-68). In 30':05'', Kill Bill had scored 30 points, with 8/10 free throws, 5/6 fg and 3/8 3p.).

* The first time he got to score double digits was during the 2001-02 season, on December 22, 2001 (game: Panathinaikos - Maroussi 93-72). In 26:24'' he scored 14 points with 1/1 free throws, 5/6 f.g. and 1/1 3p.


* The first time he broke the 20 point barrier was on March 1, 2003 (Ionikos NF - Maroussi 87-79). He had played 40 minutes scoring 24 points, with 3/3 free throws, 9/10 f.g. and 1/4 3p.


*  He has scored double digits in 277 A1 games, while in 43 of them his contribution was +20.
