"I never had not just imagined, nor dreamed of such a thing in my life. Even in my wildest dreams did I not think that I will fight in this team. And now I am a member of Olympiacos".
In 2012, when Spanoulis, Printezis and their companion won the Euroleague trophy in Constantinople, Nikos Arsenopoulos was only 12 years old. Fan of Olympiacos, the then 12 year old Nikos watched the final against CSKA Moscow on TV. "I remember everything, play by play. It is not likely to have such kind of a game ever again. And now I am here, with this great team".
As for his goals, Arsenopoulos was clear. "As I said earlier, it was a lifelong dream for me. Not only to come here, but also to try to become a player of this huge club".
The 16 year old guard loves two players of Olympiacos and he would like to be like them. "I like Spanoulis and Hackett a lot. In each workout I try to meliorate and often look at their moves and try to do the same. I catch myself wondering how is it Spanoulis does some of the things he does. I admire him and also I admire his character. He is a phenomenal player".
