Sfairopoulos: «We'll see tomorrow how Printezis is doing»

Olympiacos visits Zalgiris Kaunas on Thursday (15/12) for the 12th day of the Euroleague and Giannis Sfairopoulos together with Nikola Milutinov commented on the game against the team of Sarunas Jasikevicius.

Asked about the condition of Giorgos Printezis, Giannis Sfairopoulos said that "he got through a part of the practice, we'll see how he's doing tomorrow and we'll know at the very last moment".

As for Zalgiris, the Greek coach stressed that "Zalgiris Kaunas is in a very good shape, they have won three out of their five last game, they barely lost in Moscow and Madrid. They are in a very good shape, they play hard in defense, their offense depends on the kind of players they have, they strike wherever they spot a weakness, so we need to play smart on both ends of the court, remain focused in our defense, stop them where they want to strike, run the floor, "read" what their defense allows and play a smart game in general".

On Hackett's absence: "It's bad what happened. It's a bad when a player gets injured. I have said that we can cover for his absence, we have the players, and it needs to be done with team effort but also individual one. We are not thinking about last year's game, it's a new game, another year, totally different teams, we are only thinking about this game".

NIKOLA MILUTINOV:  "We don't think about happened last year, this is not a revenge game. We want to win tomorrow, we are only thinking about this game, we want to be ready focused on this game. We don't live in the past. They have a good roster, they have good players on all positions and we need to be ready from the start, play good defense and stop their offense. We have a good momentum and we can improve it from game to game".
