«A three-pointer» of offering and love from Olympiacos and Panathinaikos

The basketball teams of Olympiacos and Panathinaikos were at the Athens Metro Mall and the Mall Athens and had their players visit the OPAP drawings exhibition for a good cause: "Wishing ornaments" sent a powerful message of love and offering.

The athletes of the two teams were once again next to the children, supporting the OPAP initiative, that for the third year in a row offers thousands of smiles to the kids of the "Together for the Children" and "SOS Children's Villages" organizations.

Kostas Papanikolaou, Giannis Athinaiou, Eric Green, Khem Birch and Patric Young from Olympiacos paid a visit to the "Wishing ornaments" of OPAP at the Athens Metro Mall, in St. Demetrius, while a little later, Nick Calathes, Giannis Bourousis, Antonis Fotsis, Lefteris Bochoridis, James Feldeine and Chris Singleton of Panathinaikos went to The Mall Athens, in Maroussi, for the same purpose: To materialize the Christmas wish of some kid and invite everyone to pick a Wishing Ornament and offer joy and love to kids that really need it.

Kids drawing, depicting the presents they want to receive this Christmas and with their Christmas wish on them, are at the Smart Park at Spata and at the Mediterranean Cosmos in Thessaloniki. All those that are going to visit the four malls by December 31, 2016 have the chance to see the wishes and fulfill them, buying the gift depicted and making the kids' Christmas "magical" ones.

The Head of the OPAP Corporate Responsibility program Ms. Georgia Lassanianou talked about the social program of the "Wishing Ornaments": "We run this program for the third year in a row. Our goal this year is to offer even more smiles to our young friends". At the same time, she pointed out, that apart from gifts "OPAP has been running infrastructure programs for the authorities and institutions participating, aiming at improving the quality of life of the children and contribute to the creation of a pleasant environment".

Kostas Papanikolaou: "Another great initiative by OPAP in the framework of the social responsibility program. It's really nice to offer. OPAP has been contributing into that a lot for many years now".
