Μaccabi Τ.Α.: Eyeing the Final 4

Maccabi Tel Aviv has one big goal, to return to the Final Four, given that the 2014 European Champion has not participated the final stage of the competition in the last five years.

Its record - up to now - is 17 victories and 8 losses and is now fighting for a top four seed that will give the team the absolute advantage in the next phase of the Euroleague (they now co-habit the 4th seed with the current European Champion, CSKA).

I know you from someplace: Maccabi's coach, Giannis Sfairopoulos, has written his own history with Olympiacos. He had been member of the coaching staff as an assistant coach from 2005 through 2008; while as a head coach he led the team to win two back to back Greek League titles (2014-15, 2015-16). Vassilis Gerogotellis, who has also worked for our team, is part of his staff. A player that has worn our team's jersey is part of Maccabi's roster. The word is on Othello Hunter, who came to Greece for Ilysiakos for the first time in March 2010, while he joined Olympiacos in the 2014-15 season and won a championship with the 'reds'. There are also more Mavccabi members connected to Greece… Tyler Dorsey is a member of the Greek National team, Scottie Wilbekin has signed with AEK in March of 2015, while Jake Cohen has played for Aris in the 2015-16 season.

Must see: The Hebrew Diaspora Museum, as well as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
