«I know they are Euroleague legends»

Hakim Hanif Warrick is now officially and Olympiacos players and talking to olympiacosbc.gr, he stated knowing that the Greek Champs are Euroleague Legends.

The 33year old American, just before boarding the plane to fly to Greece, talked to olympiacosbc.gr and his first statement, when asked what he knows about the Piraeus team, was disarming. “I know they are Euroleague legends. I have been watching European basketball and Olympiacos is a Euroleague legend. They have done it all. I’m looking forward to wearing their shirt”.

Everything happened very fast, but Warrick had time to gather information on the Gianns Sfairopoulos’ team. “I know very well what Olympiacos means. They always aim to the top at all in all competitions they participate and to win every game. I know that I have a big challenge ahead of me. I know the team ranks first in the Greek League and there is one more round to complete the Euroleague TOP-16. However, before I even knew Olympiacos was interested in me, I already knew a lot about the team. Lin Greer and Mardy Collins had taken care of that. They are my friends and when we were talking about their time with Olympiacos, they were always saying the best. So, I’m looking forward to experiencing all that they told me about”.

The Australian League was completed a few days ago and Warrick says that he’s ready to play. “I’m in good shape. The play-offs were completed last week and I’m physically and mentally ready to help Olympiacos”.
