The prank and the message for the World Autism Awareness Day (vid)

On the eve of the World Autism Awareness Day which happened to coincide with April Fools' Day, the ONE TEAM athletes met at the auxiliary gym of the Peace and Friendship Stadium and honored both these special days!

More specifically, the 'pranked' their unsuspecting guest, Ignas Brazdeikis, pretending they were sleeping during practice and then the 'red & whites' One Team ambassador, Kostas Papanikolaou, saw to explain the limitations on a prank. "Today your prank was really amusing. You pretended to be asleep and then you got up and scared everyone throwing balls at them. That was fun. That's how we should be treating pranks in real life as well. We should be first thinking whether what we plan to do can be disturbing for the one on the receiving end of our actions. That's how we should be operating in all instances for that matter".

Then, the captain, together with the second ambassador of the program, Giannoulis Larentzakis, as well as with their special guest, Ignas Brazdeikis, participated in the One Team practice, that had - as always - a central theme, this time being respecting the boundaries of our fellow humans.

Everyone had a great time and send their own message for the World Autism Awareness Day.

“Αutism is not a disability it's a different ability”.
