With the no. 42/2015 decision, ASEAD dismissed the appeal by D. Giannakopoulos against the ban of his presence in athletic courts for ten months, which was imposed by the HEBA Sports Judge, following a complaint by Olympiacos BC, in regard to his illegal presence in OAKA for the game against Rethymno.

The reasoning for the said decision includes among others, that "… the aforementioned behavior of the appellant is not a one time incident, neither a spontaneous act, since he acted with deliberation, so as to once again show to the fans of his team that he will not be conforming to the decisions made by the HEBA Sports Judge, deciding that he can be excluded without consequence from the field of execution of said decisions… the hereby deliberated disciplinary behavior of the appellant is contrary to the spirit of fair play, is especially slandering to the sport of basketball and falsely creates the notion that this is a League where laws and penalties are not fully implemented, so that some basketball executives can be exempt from their execution…".

Therefore, according to the irrevocable decisions of the HEBA Sports Judge and EFIP that have been up to this moment issued against D. Giannakopoulos, the removed executive of Panathinaikos BC is banned from entering any sports court up until October 2017.
