Christodoulou joins the Reds with a five year deal

Olympiacos BC announces the agreement with Andreas Christodoulou. The Cyprus guard will be wearing the reds’ shirt for the next five years.

Christodoulou: Humility and hard work

In his first statements as an Olympiacos player, Andreas Christodoulou stressed: “I don’t know what to say… I was practicing with Olympiacos during the summer and finally I’m going to be a part of this great team. I hope to make right for those who believe in me”, the Cyprus guard commented for www.olympiacosbc.gr and added: “It’s a great responsibility joining a team like Olympiacos that has faith in young players. I have to work even harder to justify those who chose me. I have to follow the path paved by the previous generation, Katsivelis, Sloukas, Mantzaris and Papanikolaou. Heads in and hard work”.

The 18 year old player of the European Champions also spoke about the dreams he was making watching his current team lifting the valuable Euroleague trophy: “The truth is that at that moment I was thinking, or better I was dreaming to be able to be a part of this team. But something like this seemed so distant. It’s a life time dream to be joining Olympiacos. It’s a dream of a lifetime to be chosen by the best team in Europe among so many kids that play basketball at this age”.
