Leday with Olympiacos for the next three years

Olympiacos BC announces signing Zach Leday. The American forward/center has agreed to a three year contract with our team.

Zach Leday was born on May 30, 1994 in Dallas (Texas) and stands at 2.1m.
At a collegial level, he has played for South Florida (2012-2014) and Virginia Tech (2015-2017).

He began his professional career in 2017 with Hapoel Galil Gilboa and in 37 games for the Israeli League, he averaged 19.5 p.p.g (80% in free throws, 53% in 2p. and 37% in 3p.), 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

He was the second top scorer for the Israeli League last season and was among the best starting five of the League.

He also holds a special record… On December 9, 2017 in the game against Hapoel Jerusalem, he scored 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, becoming the first player (after 2014 and Diamon Simpson) to score a double – double in the Israeli League with +20 in points and rebounds.
