A return to winning!

Olympiacos bested Bayern Munich 77-69 at the SEF, for the 13th round of the Euroleague and returned to a winning trajectory. 

Our team made an impressive beginning in the game! They excelled in defense (only 5 turnovers and a poor 8p. score for the German team in the first quarter is proof enough), opened fire from the three-point line and got a +18 lead (26-8) by 11'. But there was no stopping them... With Giannoulis Larentzakis and Nikola Milutinov as main protagonists, the 'red & whites' skyrocketed the difference to 21p. (39-18) at 18'. However, Bayern found target from the perimeter and closed in to 12p. (41-29), by the end of the first half.  

With Alec Peters taking the baton in scoring, Olympiacos increased his distance to 19p. (48-29) at 24, however, the Germans found once again scoring from the perimeter and running a 10-0 run, dropped the difference to 9p. (48-39 at 27'). Thanks to Nikola Milutinov, our team continued maintaining control (54-44), while with Alec Peters spearheading the offense, they once again got to lead by two-digits (+15, 70-55 at 35'). Bayern wasn't willing to give up the fight though. They took advantage of bad choices in the offense, for yet another time found scoring from afar and closed in to 6p. (75-69) with 38.2'' to the end. But that was that... Olympaicos 'put his money' in defense, got it right and won.
