Won in Patras and now for the double-game Euroleague week

Olympiacos had a tough time on the road, but beat Promitheas at the end (77-74) for the 17th day of the Basket League and is now focusing on the double-game Euroleague week.
Although our the team did not have Thomas Walkup, Luca Vildoza and Moustapha Fall at the line-up, managed to overcome the challenges and is now concentrating on the games against Paris and Barcelona.
Olympiacos received a 7-0 at the beginning of the game but reacted rather quickly closing in to 12-9 (5'), while a dunk by Nikola Milutinov following an assist from Williams-Goss was the beginning for a 10-0 partial our team got to run (14-19, 7'). The home team responded exploiting on the unforced turnovers the guests were making, running a 9-0 partial of their won (23-22), with the first quarter ending at 25-24. Olympiacos used an extended rotation in the second quarter, struggling to score but playing a rather sufficient defensive game that did not give room to the hosts to open up the margin. The half-time break found the score at 37-35.
Evan Fournier and Sasha Vezenkov stepped up in the third quarter, and assisted by Papanikolaou and Milutinov gave the team a 41-42 lead. Promitheas remained competitive (46-42, 24'), but our team run a quick 6-0 and got ahead again (46-48, 26') with the hosts in the lead by 1point at 30' (54-53). Giannoulis Larentzakis was the one to turn the tables in the fourth and final quarter, prompting a 7-0 for the 'red & whites' (58-66, 34'). The game remained close and a very competitive one to the end (72-77, 39'' and 74-77, 5.5'' before the final buzzer) with our team getting a tough road win at the end.
