A huge win in Palau Blaugrana!

Olympiacos beat Barca on the road (90-88), finishing one more double-game Euroleague week with a perfect record (2/2) and remains alone at the top of the rankings.

in an up-tempo game, Olympiacos began with lots of energy on both sides of the floor. The guests moved the ball well and found good cooperations, mainly with Vezenkov (13-16, 6'), closing the first quarter at 18-22. In the second quarter they established a +7 lead (18-25), with the hosts replying with a small 5-0 (23-25). McKissic became the central face of our offense (32-33, 15'), with the help of Mitrou-Long, but the lead kept changing hands, with the first-half score giving a 2p. lead to the hosts (47-45). 

The second half began with Barcelona striking from the long range, taking advantage of the slow reaction of our defense, hence running a partial 9-2 (56-47, 23'). Our team though had the answer. With Sasha Vezenkov and Evan Fournier, our team run a partial 10-0 (56-57, 25'). Our defense improved as well, which led Barcelona to committing turnovers and Fournier scored another 5 points that maintained the lead for our team (59-62, 27'), up until 3' (65-66). In the last quarter, it was Nigel Williams-Goss who helped the offense, leaving the facilitator role behind, while McKissic took over later on, leading to the 67-72 score. Our team run a partial 8-2 that made the score 67-74 at 32'. Barcelona tried come back running a partila 5-0 (75-78), but Goss made the score 75-80 at 36'. The hosts gave it a final run with a partial 7-2 (82-84, 38'), and the score becoming 84-86 90'' before the end. The derby went on in the final possessions, wtih Barcelona remaining calm from the free throw line and the score being tied 88-88. Evan Fournier was the one to put an end to the game scoring the winning bucket with 18.9'' on the clock (88-90).
