+100 points and a win over Maroussi

Despite playing without Nigel Williams-Goss, Luca Vildoza, and Nikola Milutinov, Olympiacos triumphed 104-88 away against Maroussi for the 21st round of the Basket League.

With Naz Mitrou-Long  being the only playmaker available (3/3 three-pointers), leading offensively, and without raising the intensity of their game, Olympiacos took an early lead (5-8, 3'). The Piraeus team found scoring from Sasha Vezenkov, Mustapha Fall, and Kostas Papanikolaou, continuing to lead throughout the period (13-19, 7'). Coach Giorgos Bartzokas used an extensive rotation, bringing in Dorsey, Peters, and McKissic, with the latter playing as a point guard in the final two minutes of the quarter (19-24). Playing for nine minutes with a frontcourt duo of Alec Peters and Sasha Vezenkov, Olympiacos had no trouble controlling the game, even starting the second quarter with a 7-0 run (19-21, 12'). Giannoulis Larentzakis and Tyler Dorsey led the offense (28-40, 16'), with Alec Peters also contributing. The 'red & whites' were serious and focused, without increasing their pace, and with a buzzer-beater three-pointer by Dorsey, they went into halftime with a 15-point lead (40-55).

The third period began with a three-pointer by Evan Fournier and Mitrou-Long continuing to score (44-63, 23'). However, defensive lapses from Olympiacos allowed Maroussi to go on a 10-2 run, cutting the deficit to 54-65. Mitrou-Long's fourth successful three-pointer temporarily halted Maroussi's momentum (54-68, 25'), but the hosts managed to reduce the margin to single digits (66-73, 28') due to Olympiacos's lack of concentration. At that point, Alec Peters took over, scoring from beyond the arc, and the quarter ended with Olympiacos leading 66-76. Peters continued to shine in the final quarter, scoring all nine points in a crucial 8-2 run for the 'red & whites' (68-74, 32'). Maroussi responded with a 6-0 run (74-84) and remained competitive, cutting the difference to 6 points (83-89, 34'). At that point, Larentzakis and Dorsey stepped up, hitting three-pointers (85-97, 38'), with Peters dunking for a 87-101 lead. With 1:04 left, Stefanos Spartalis entered the game, followed shortly by Giorgos Bournelis, as the game concluded with a 104-88 victory for Olympiacos.

The quarters: 19-24, 40-55, 66-76, 88-104.
