«Neofytos Chandriotis»: Οlympiacos - Paris 87-90

Olympiacos was defeated by Paris (87–90) in their second friendly match of the Neofytos Chandriotis International Tournament.

With Sasha Vezenkov as the main offensive protagonist (10-6, 4') and Evan Fournier following his lead, Olympiacos took an early advantage against Paris. Donta Hall joined the 'red & white' equation (20-14, 7') in a first quarter marked by poor three-point shooting (1/8) and a high tempo, which ended with three made free throws by Sasha Vezenkov for the 23-17 score.

Giorgos Bartzokas, who rested Keenan Evans and Alec Peters, brought Omiros Netzipoglou onto the court and experimented with different lineups, including Tyson Ward at the "4" position. In the second quarter, a series of poor decisions allowed the Parisians to take a +4 lead (28-32, 14'), but Evan Fournier and Sasha Vezenkov brought the game back to level terms (36-36), with the first half ending at 42-37.

Vezenkov continued to score, and after a steal, Shaquielle McKissic threw down a dunk on the fast break, energizing the crowd (47-42, 21'). Tyson Ward hit a three-pointer to push the lead to +6 (50-44), but Paris stayed close by playing at a fast pace and extending possessions, with the third quarter ending 63-60 following a nice combination between Lee and Milutinov.

In the final quarter, after an early basket by Ward, Olympiacos committed a series of offensive errors, which Paris capitalized on with a 12-0 run (65-69, 32'). Sasha Vezenkov remained the go-to guy for the Piraeus team, scoring from both beyond the arc and near the basket (74–78, 36'), with Donta Hall taking over next, first cutting the lead to 3 (82–85, 38') and then tying the game at 87-87 with 25'' left.

With 10.1'' remaining, Vezenkov committed his fifth foul and was also assessed a technical by the referees, as was the Olympiacos bench. That sent Paris to the free throw line, where they sealed the 87-90 win. Evan Fournier couldn’t find the equalizer in the final 10 seconds, and the game ended 87-90.
