An easy road win against PAOK

Olympiacos scored their 8th win for the Stoiximan GBL beating PAOK 81-92 at the PAOK Sports Arean and remained undefeated at the top of the rankings before the national teams' break window.

Saben Lee played an impressive game for the guests, finishing it with 24 points (5/6 threes and 6 assists), while Sasha Vezenkov was close behind with 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Olympiacos began the game with Walkup, Dorsey, Ward, Vezenkov and Milutinov and set the tempo from the start. Vezenkov and Ward scored in their initial attempts at threes and then the Bulgarian forward scored back-to-back in the post.

However, the difference got wider after Saben Lee came on the floor. The American player substituted for Walkup, 3 minutes before the end of the first quarter and was exquisite from the get go.

Lee scored 7 points by the end of the quarter (17-23) and continued unimpeded into the second one. He played the point-guard position and by the end of the first half he had scored 18 points with 4/4 threes and had dished 2 assists, hence putting his signature on Olympiacos' 7-point lead.

In the second half, the triplet of Walkup-Ward-Vezenkov led Olympiacos and after Bartzokas' team tightened their defense, the difference only grew. Dorsey with a back-handed lay-up gave the 'red &whites' a +20 lead just before the end of the third quarter and in the last one the game became of procedural character.

Saben Lee continued with his impressive performance, finishing the game with 24 points and 6 assists, therefore being the undisputed MVP of the game.

Τhe quarters: 17-24, 41-48, 56-73, 81-92.
