A dominant win in Karditsa

Olympiacos demolished Karditsa 80–120 and began the second half of the Stoiximan GBL with a dominant win, remaining undefeated in the League with a perfect 13–0 record.

Alec Peters recorded a career-high performance in the Olympiacos' jersey. Starting in the lineup, he finished the game with 35 points. Tyler Dorsey added 22, while Hall (13 points) and Jones (14 points, with 6/6 twos and 2/2 free throws) also scored in double digits. The 120 points scored by our team mark our best offensive performance in the Greek League over the past 25 years, as well as the 6th-best scoring output in the club’s history.

Our team traveled to the Thessalian city with 12 players, and Giorgos Bartzokas opened the game with Walkup, Dorsey, Papanikolaou, Peters and Hall, resting Vezenkov and Milutinov, with the former playing only in the second quarter. Tyler Dorsey got off to a 'hot' start, scoring 10 points in less than 5 minutes on 4/4 shooting, and his outburst helped our team take its first double-digit lead of the game (2–12 and 6–16).

Karditsa, led by Brandon Jefferson, balanced the game toward the end of the first quarter, with the American guard scoring 13 points and distributing the ball superbly to make it 26–29 at the end of the period. During the same stretch, Donta Hall stood out by finishing excellently around the rim, reaching 7 points.

At the start of the second quarter, it was time for Tyrique Jones' debut, who was warmly applauded by Olympiacos fans in Karditsa as he entered the floor. The American center threw down a dunk shortly after checking in, while Tyson Ward once again helped Olympiacos with his energy. In the second quarter, Giorgos Bartzokas used a three-forward lineup for a long stretch (Ward, Papanikolaou, Vezenkov) and also deployed Evan Fournier in the playmaker role.

Jefferson and Diplaros were unstoppable from beyond the arc in the second quarter, and Karditsa cut the deficit to one point (42–43, two minutes before halftime). However, with Vezenkov reaching 9 points, Olympiacos went into the locker room leading by four (46–50).

After the break, it was Alec Peters’ turn to shine offensively for Olympiacos. The American forward scored 12 points in just under 4 minutes, pushing the lead back into double digits. Dorsey and Papanikolaou then extended the margin beyond 20 points (52–73 in the 26th minute). Olympiacos was outstanding on both ends of the floor in the third quarter, posting a dominant 12–35 run, with Alec Peters scoring 17 of those points.

In the final quarter, Giorgos Bartzokas had the opportunity to involve all players except Milutinov. Omiros Netzipoglou stepped onto the court and scored 3 points, while an emphatic dunk by Tyrique Jones pushed our team past the 100-point mark 6' before the final buzzer. Giannoulis Larentzakis also knocked down consecutive threes, and with the lead exceeding 40 points from 35' on, Olympiacos simply managed the game. The match ended with a 40-point margin, with Alec Peters finishing with 35 points and 6 made 3-pointers.

The quarters: 26–29, 46–50, 58–85, 80–120.
