Return to victories

The loss to Anadolu Efes during the Heraklion tournament was left behind and the 'reds' returned to winning, this time against Galatasaray. Olympiacos edged the Turkish team 67-61 in a friendly game played in Glyfada without the presence of spectators.

The team of Giannis Sfairopoulos imposed its tempo for three quarters against Galata and using pressing defense as its main weapon even led by 20 just a little before the end of the third quarter.

The Turks came back into the game and tied it two minutes before the end, but the 'reds' kept their cool and got the victory.

The two teams are going to have another match up on Saturday, once again in Glyfada at 17:00 for a game organized by the Glyfada Municipality in terms of the 3on3 International Tournament. About 1000 people will be watching the game, acquiring invites from the Municipality, while OTE TV will be broadcasting the game.
