Relying on their perimeter shooting, the Russian team got an initial +5 lead (8-13) at 3’, but with good defense and Sasha Vezenkov and Vassilis Charalampopoulos at the tip of the offensive spear, the ‘reds’ replied with a 9-0 streak and got ahead 19-13 at 6’.
The Bartzokas’ players got to lead even by 11p. (31-20 at 13’), however, the Russians once again opened fire from the 6.75m. arc and turned the game around (37-41). Finally, with Kostas Sloukas and Kostas Koufos, our team ran a partial 5-0 and closed the first half leading the score.

Sasha Vezenkov and Shaquielle McKissic took over at that point and broadened the margin to +8 (63-55 at 30’).
From there on, the Bartzokas’ players consistently maintained absolute control (79-66 at 37’) and got the final win without being substantially threatened at any point.
