Friendly game: Ιonikos Ν. - Οlympiacos 59-98

Olympiacos beat Ionikos Nikaia BC HNC Revolution 98-59, in a friendly game held at the Platonas gym.

However, the highlight of the evening wasn’t the ‘reds’ victory, but rather the ticket revenue that together with the donations by the two Clubs will assist towards buying a fire truck for Northern Evoia, that was devastated by wild fires.  

Our team played without Kostas Sloukas (has been ill with a viral infection) and Kostas Papanikolaou (tendonitis of the left knee).

The Greek Champion with the ‘reds’ U18 team, Zade Muosa, made his unofficial debut with the men’s team.  

Bartzokas’ players had complete control of the game from start to the end. At the beginning of the game, they stopped their opponents from scoring at all for six minutes (0-12), finishing the first quarter with a +18 lead (29-46). The outlook did not change into the second half. With good defense and pluralistic offense, Olympiacos widened the difference (+24, 44-68 at 27’). The team continued with the same intensity and increased the margin to 41 points (57-98) with 42’’ to the end!
