An easy qualification to the Greek Cup’s final 8
Olympiacos beat Iraklis at the Ivanofeio gym 90-66 and ‘sealed’ his ticket to the quarter finals of the Greek Cup competition.
Relying on Tyler Dorsey’s good percentages from the perimeter, the ‘reds’ built a +9 difference from the start (8-17 at 6’). They contained their turnovers later on, put pressure in the back court and with Kostas Sloukas spearheading the offense increased the margin to +19 (27-46 at 20’).
Bartzokas’ players never hit on the brakes… With superb defense and a partial 17-4, they got to skyrocket the difference to 32p. (31-63 at 26’).
Iraklis struck from the perimeter and closed in to 22p. (44-66 at 31’), however, the ‘reds’ reply was immediate and running a partial 14-3 they once again got to +33 (47-80 at 36’). The final margin of 35 points was also the largest one for Olympiacos.
