Submitted Maccabi and remains undefeated at home!
Olympiacos made an emphatic return to winning. He beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 90-73, maintained his undefeated home record and is now solely focusing on the Monday game (22/11) against Panathinaikos at the SEF.
Our team made an outstanding start in the game, beyond the wildest of imaginations! Excellent ball movements, top offensive choices, excellent defense and hence the first quarter ending at +27 (35-8)!
The ‘reds’ tempo slowed down in the beginning of the 2nd quarter and Maccabi ran a partial 10-1, which made the score 36-18 at 13’. But that was it… Relying on his defensive plan and with Sasha Vezenkov remaining attached to the basket, Olympiacos consistently maintained control (51-26).
Maccabi found perimeter scoring and dropped the difference to 18p. (56-38 at 24’). Tyler Dorsey though replied in similar fashion… He opened fire from the 6.75m and together with Moustapha Fall, who dominated the post, restored order (71-43 at 29’).
The guests once again tried for a come back from the three point line (71-51 at 32’), but Kostas Sloukas and Shaquielle McKissic came forward keeping the distance intact (87-63 at 37’).
