Stormed over Bayern!
Olympiacos returned to winning in an emphatic fashion, besting Bayern at the SEF 83-60, for the 15th round of the Euroleague, at the same time preserving his undefeated home record.
The ‘reds’ completely dominated the game from the start. With good defense and Dorsey spearheading the offense, the built a +10 difference by 4’. In the same manner and with Vezenkov and Martin taking the baton in scoring, our team closed the first quarter at +16 (26-10).
They did not stop there though… Whoever got on the floor matched up performance wise which resulting in the margin going even higher (41-19 at 16’) and reaching its peak at the end of the first half (+25, 49-24). All these despite the fact that the ‘reds’ had 0% in threes (0/6)!
The outlook did not change into the 3rd quarter… Olympiacos mainly relying on his defense, but also on the outstanding Walkup and Fall got to trail even further (34p., 65-31 at 29’).
This was not the case though in the 4th quarter. Bad decisions in the offense together with defensive mishaps, allowed the Germans to close in to 17p. (75-58 at 38’). Finally, Olympiacos struck from the perimeter with McKissic and Larentzakis and sealed the victory.
