An easy win over Lavrio
Olympiacos easily beat Lavrio at the SEF 98-61, retained his perfect winning record with the Basket League and is getting ready for the home game against Valencia (04/11).
The "red & whites" were late to get into rhythm (20-19 at 9'), however, as soon as they gained momentum the game was automatically transformed to a one man show. With good defense and Moustapha Fall dominating the post, our team got a 15p. lead (34-19). Michalis Lountzis took the batton from the French center and scoring 5/6 threes in the first half opened up the distance to 25p. (53-28).
Geromichalos made one for two free throws and the score became 53-29, closing the first half, however, Olympiaos made an even stronger beginning into the 3rd quarter and with Joel Bolomboy and Sasha Vezenkov spearheading the offense, they took the difference marker to +29 (68-39 at 28').
Giorgos Bartzokas decided to save up the players' strength in view of the home game against Valencia, but no matter who got on the floor, they would not disappoint... Lountzis, Papas and Black continued "loading" Lavrio's buckets and got to win with a +37 margin (98-61).
