Barztokas: «It's a very significant victory»

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, stressed the importance of the win over Maccabi in Belgrade and congratulated his players. 

"We had expected nothing less than a difficult game. We are in tough stretch, we have a very short rotation due to injuries, so our preparation for the games is problematic. We lost Goss during the game due to injury and Peters (fouled out), so our rotation got even tighter. But we were lucky Sikma was back. He gave us 11 important minutes in this game and I hope that soon we are going to have all our players with us so we can show what we can do. This victory is very important. It's always strange when you play without the presence of fans and that's a fact for both teams, not just for us. We were leading throughout the game and got the win at the end, despite that all challenged possessions were against us. Congrats to my players for the big win. I wish good luck to Maccabi for the next games".
