Bartzokas: «Playing as a team is very important for us»

Giorgos Bartzokas said the win over AEK to be the result of team work. 

"It was a game that you can understand was hard for us to prepare. We spent a lot of energy in the two Euroleague games we played this week, while AEK has had the whole week to prepare. Unfortunately, we only had one practice, and that not with our full roster. But it's not just the energy we spent. We were also faced with injuries. Fall had an edema in his knee and his participation had been doubtful, while Milutinov was sick. I sincerely appreciate the fact that they both played. What we did is no small feat. We won here, scoring 92 points and having dished 27 assists. We have had very low three-point percentages. AEK was playing aggressively on our ball and hence allowed us to move it. We took many open shots that we missed. If we had scored, we would have had close to 32 - 33 assists. So, team work is really important for us. Congratulations to AEK, all the best".
