Bartzokas - Larentzakis about Valencia

With Moustapha Fall returning to action, Olympiacos traveled to Spain, where tomorrow (08/02, 20:30 CET) will be facing off against Valencia.

"We played very bad against Valencia in the first round, we scored very low, did not execute well, while Valencia had played very well", was what the coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, pointed out before continuing with the following: "They are also now in a very good place, they beat Barcelona a few days ago. Right now, their playing style has differenciated. The fact that that both their big players, Davis and Toure are out, forces them to with more flexible line-ups, with players that are small forwards and go up to the '4' position. That has given them more intensity and flexibility in their game. Of course, we expect a very difficult game. It's very important, although now every game is siginificant. The more we get close to the end of the regular season, it's getting more difficult for all the teams".

On his part, Giannoulis Larentzakis, stressed the following: "It's a very important game. It's definitely going to be a high intensity game. We know Valencia and the fact that they have one of the best defenses in the league. They play with lots of contact and they are tough. But we have worded very well and we are in a good momentum".

Asked what it is that Olympiacos needs to do differently compared to the first-round game, when the Spanish team had left the Peace and Friendship Stadium with a win, he replied: "They are totally different games. We certainly must not exhibit the same hesitancy we showed in the first game".
