Bartzokas and Canaan talk about Partizan

Olympiacos traveled to Belgrade for the game against Partizan (28/03, 20:30 CET) without Filip Petrusev and Michalis Lountzis.

"It's a very difficult game in a very 'hot' court", the 'red & whites' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas pointed out. "It will take lots of concentration so that the players stay within the plan. They have to control their emotions and not allow the intensity with which the opponent plays overwhelm them, of course in conjunction with the importance of the game. It's a very crucial game for both teams, but maybe even more so for Partizan. Thta's the thing. How we present ourselves. If we stay focused and stick to the plan".

Asked where he attributes the two different faces of Partizan in home and road games, he replied: "The difference has everything to do with what happens in that arena. I was sick last year and hadn't traveled there, I saw the game on TV. But everyone though, both the players and my associates, told me that they experienced a unique atmosphere, you cannot hear what the person next to you is saying. It's very intense for the guest team. But I hope it will not affect us. So that we get to make good choices and I also hope that our players have a good day".

On his part, the American guard, Isaiah Canaan, stressed the following: "We obviously all know about the importance of the three games left to conclude the regular season. We are focused. We expect a hard game. The atmosphere and Partizan can make it difficult for us, but we have had some good practicing days, we are focused and we are ready for the game".
