Bartzokas: «We meant business»

The coach of the 'red & whites', Giorgos Bartzokas, talked about the importance of the road win against AEK that gave Olympiacos the ticket to the Basket League's semis.

"It was important for us to finish with the series today. In case a third game was needed, we would have to play on Tuesday, which would have caused us problems in terms of our preparation for the Friday game. We were much more focused and serious compared to the first game at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. I would like to wish to Ilias Zouros and to AEK that they find their way. Wish them a better next season. We respect AEK and that's why, regardless of the outcome, being somewhat pre-determined, we played a serious game. We had 33 assists, we played our standard game and if we take out the second quarter, when AEK scored 29 points and 12 at the fast-break due to us being rather relaxed, we faced the game with seriousness, which is what's needed at this time".
