Bartzokas: «Heading to the third game with the same humility and humbleness»

Right after making the 2-0 in the series, Olympiacos' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, was quick to tone down the surrounding atmosphere, highlighting the fact that nothing is over yet...

"Congratulations to both teams. I think it was a very high-quality game. It was of a very high level in terms of the intensity and its significance. Panathinaikos played very well. They shot 50% with threes in the first half, but for us, the important thing was that we were still trailing only by one point, having committed 7 turnovers in the first half. We were nervous, which is normal, just like Panathinaikos was in game 1. However, in the second half, we imposed a good playing style on both ends of the floor. We found open shots and made them and we created a two-digit margin. Of course, the way basketball is today, there is no 10, 13-point lead that cannot be overturned in a short time. We made some good decisions, we succeeded with some crucial defensive plays, we got some critical rebounds and we managed the situation well. We are now leading 2-0, which is very important against such a difficult and strong opponent, but as you can understand the series continues. Nothing is finished. We are approaching the next game with the same humility, humbleness and faith in our team and our playing style".
