Bartzokas: «We lacked fighting spirit»

In the post game following the road game against Fener for the Euroleague premiere, Giorgos Bartzokas talked about the game aspects that the team needs to improve. 

In his initial statement, he said: "First of all, congratulations to Fener, they began the season with a win. We were missing a lot of things tonight, especially in regard to the fighting spirit that resulted in 14 missed rebounds that gave Fener 14 new possessions. In such a close game this is especially crucial. We must play better in many areas of the game. First of all, with turnovers, we made 7 stupid ones half-court. And we must also shoot the ball much better that what we did tonight". 

Asked about everything that transpired after the end of the game (i.e the tension with Fener's coach) he stressed that: "There was no conversing, Saras attacked me. What happened in the game was that we each received one technical and when I went to shake his hand at the end, he attacked me. That's absolute disrespect towards me".
