Bartzokas: «We should have been more consistent»

Olympiacos got a comfortable win against Karditsa, however, the 'red & whites' coach was not satisfied with his players' performance.

"I want to congratulate Karditsa, on the gym, the atmosphere, the club's organization... Team like them deserve to play at the highest level. Apart from that, they have a very good, very serious team. They execute very well on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately, they were unlucky to begin with a very tough schedule, playing against Panathinaikos, AEK and Olympiacos, but I'm certain, they are going to win many games and some of them are going to be unexpected. As for us, we presented two different faces... For about twenty minutes, we were serious, executed well and gained big leads, however, there were five-minute intervals when we totally disregarded what we had to do in the game, we were naive, drawn to turnovers, lacking energy on both ends of the floor. If we were pre-occupied with the schedule we have ahead of us, with 4 - 5 tough consecutive games, then that was wrong... The winning basketball philosophy is to approach the game you play with the seriousness demanded by an organization such as Olympiacos. We seemed to be ok with winning by 20 and going home, but it's not how it should be. I'm not happy with how we played. We had to be more compact, more consistent and play a good 40 minutes of good basketball".
