Bartzokas: «Our fans helped us a lot tonight» (vid)

A little after the end of the winning game vs Real Madrid, our team's coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, talked about the atmosphere at the SEF and the game against the Madrilene.

"I have to start talking about the help the fans offered us tonight to win the game. It means a lot to us, following a defeat to Panathinaikos, to have this kind of atmosphere here only two days later. This is pure love for the team, this is the team's greatest accomplishment", he said in his initial statement.

As for the game: "For us, it was an important win, but as I say even after defeats, it's still early in the season. Obviously, every win is useful, and every defeat can hurt you. Williams-Goss and McKissic had a significant impact, since they were rested, they hadn't played the previous game. Beating Real Madrid, that has that amount of talent in its ranks and stopping them at 20p. below their average scoring, shows something about us".
