Bartzokas: «I do appreciate this win»

In the Press Conference following the winning game vs Barcelona, coach Giorgos Bartzokas talked about the importance of his team's win, made a special mention of Luca Vildoza and Tyler Dorsey and did not overlook wishing a speedy recovery for Nikola Laprovitola.

In his initial statement, the Greek coach said: "It was a good evening for our team. I appreciate this win a lot, just like any Euroleague win, but I have extra appreciation for it, especially since we were playing against two Spanish behemoths in two days. I want to give lots of credit to our team and our fans, the atmosphere has been amazing. It was the third sold-out game, this is something we really need.

I would like to make a special mention of Luca Vildoza, although you know I don't prefer talking about individual players. The way he plays, he tries to do anything the coach is asking from him to help the team. He did not score at all tonight, but his impact was huge. Also, Tyler, who did not play two days ago, was ready to play tonight and show his talent and potential.

Barcelona is a great team, a talented team, with lots of size in all positions and that's why they have had four consecutive wins and were ranking first. Also, allow me to extend my warmest get well wishes to Nikola Laprovitola. I heard he underwent surgery yesterday. I hope he comes back stronger. He's a player I like a lot, Argentinians play basketball the same way footballers play in Argentina. Just like Ginobili in the past, just like Luca and Campazzo right now... They do things outside the ordinary, they think out of the box, they play a special kind of basketball and I like that a lot".
