Bartzokas: «We did not have the right attitude»

Our team's coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, talked about mental readiness and managing the game, in the press conference following the fourth consecutive Euroleague win of his team. 

"It was a stressful night for us tonight, following the winning streak we have had with the Euroleague, we did not have the right attitude, especially at the beginning of the game. Of course, they also made 9 for 11 threes at the beginning... But mainly, it has to do with how we started out in defense. We only made 4 fouls in 17 minutes and despite having had the chance to stop fast-break with fouls, we did not do that. We let them feel comfortable on the floor, and that led us to trail the score. From that optic, I think this win to very important. Congratulations to Villeurbanne, they played very well. They were a very difficult opponent. Maledon was amazing and the whole team was very aggressive when going for the offensive rebounds. Players that don't usually shoot with good percentages like Ndiaye, who got to score threes, one of them when we were leading by 6, put a lot of pressure on us".
