Bartzokas: «Peristeri took advantage of our hastiness» (vid)

In the post game following the win over Peristeri, Giorgos Bartzokas talked about the really nice atmosphere at the SEF. with the presence of many kids, but also commented on the performance of Mr. Limniatis' team.

"If there are two things we have to point out today, is that we had a lot of fans at the gym, many kids and a great atmosphere. It's a good idea for the League, these Sunday afternoon games, that can attract kids on the eve of a school day. I think that was fantastic. The other things is Peristeri's performance, that was really good for 40 minutes. They played a very programmed game, very methodical and on high speed. They obviously took advantage of our hastiness, sloppiness, the fact that we did not want to spend a lot of energy and still win... Basketball itself, the league itself and life itself show that then you have to try twice or three times as hard to win and that's what happened. We were under a lot of pressure, we used players more than what we had estimated we would have to, but we made some good plays on both ends of the floor and got the win which was important for us. Congrats to Peristeri".
