Bartzokas: «It's important that we won despite the injuries»

In the Press Conference following the home win vs AEK, for the 16th day of the Basket League, Olympiacos' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas talked about what his team changed to wint the game despite a big injury list.
«I would like to congratulate coach Sakota and AEK, they came into the game with the right approach, taking advantage of the lack of defensive cohesion on our end at the beginning. This resulted in us trailing by 14 and hence having to resort in the second quarter to all those things that make any basketball team in the world a normal one. That is, playing with speed, intensity, run the transition and do everything with greater speed. We went to the break leading by 5 and then managed the game as we ought to in order to win. Everyone who did not play (Sasha Vezenkov, Luca Vildoza, Thomas Walkup, Moustapha Fall) were facing injuries of various levels of severity, so the fact that we won under that perspective is important».
