Peters to OlympiacosBC TV "We move forward, we have a game ahead"
Olympiacos took the first step towards their goal. They defeated Karditsa in the quarterfinals of the Final 8 and now face PAOK in the semifinals to reach the big Sunday "appointment".
Shortly after the end of the game, one of the team's protagonists, Alec Peters, spoke to the Olympiacos BC TV camera.
Here’s what the American forward had to say: "Same routine tomorrow (i.e. today). We need to get up and get ourselves ready to play another game. That’s the fun part of being in such a tournament. It takes us back to when we were kids, playing all day. It’s something that people think about and say 'oh, it must be hard.' It’s fun, we’re playing basketball every day."
On the game against PAOK: "We played against them less than a week ago. More or less, we’ll have the same game plan. We did a good job in the second half against them in the last match. We’ll watch the video, we’ll learn from it. We move forward, we have a game ahead of us."
