Bartzokas: «The win is dedicated to our fans» (vid)

In his initial statement, Olympiacos' coach Giorgos Bartzokas dedicated the 8th consecutive victory over Panathinaikos in the Euroleague to the team's fans, who created an amazing atmosphere at the SEF.
"It was a derby with a lot of intensity. We were leading throughout the game, reaching a +19 lead in the middle of the third quarter. At that point, Nigel Williams-Goss got injured. I’m trying to remember when we had all our players ready against Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos has a strong personality, players with strong characters, and they came back into the game. Mainly due to our mistakes and bad offensive executions, they scored 18 points off our errors. I can't complain about my players, congratulations to them. Our record is 22-7, which is excellent. We have won 8 consecutive times against Panathinaikos in the Euroleague, and we dedicate this victory to our fans, who created an incredible atmosphere."
"There were many moments when we could have finished the game earlier, like the transition by Lee and the three-pointer with the backboard by Mitoglou. Things also happened because of Panathinaikos' skill and luck. It’s probably better that we didn’t win by 20 points, so the team remained focused until the end," he added.
Asked about the condition of Nigel Williams-Goss, who left in the middle of the third quarter with discomfort in the biceps of his right leg, he mentioned, "He will undergo an MRI, and then we will see the extent of the problem."
In response to a question regarding Ataman's complaints about the officiating, he said: "Ataman does this every time. Obviously, we only win because of the referees. I don’t remember ever winning against Panathinaikos without him commenting on the officiating."
