Bartzokas: «The 104 points show our quality»

Olympiacos cruised to a 100-point victory over Maroussi despite several significant absences.

"I'm always happy to return here," said Olympiacos head coach Giorgos Bartzokas, and continued, "The game was quite interesting for the fans, even though it didn't really mean anything for us. I wish Maroussi the best of luck in the upcoming play-outs. We played with makeshift lineups. Due to both minor and major injuries, we had to rest some players, so we were forced to play with many forwards, without a center, and sometimes without a point guard. But we scored 104 points, and that shows the quality of our team. Now we will focus on the game on Thursday, which is important for us. I wish Maroussi all the best and good luck."

Regarding whether Nigel Williams-Goss will play against Crvena Zvezda, he said: "He’s undergoing double treatments with the aim to play on Thursday. If he’s not 100% ready, he will play in the next one, and we will cover for him with Vildoza and Lee."

Lastly, regarding Thomas Walkup's situation, he said: "He will return on Thursday from the USA. He’s doing well, running, sprinting... He’s in good shape, and he’s happy as well. Because, as you know, with all the back-and-forth with injuries, he was mentally down for a while."
