Pappas: «We move forward aiming to properly prepare for the playoffs»

Our team’s head coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, felt unwell and was unable to attend the press conference, so one of his assistant coaches, Christos Pappas, took his place.

“It was quite a strong and interesting game. Congratulations to Panionios for their effort; they played with a lot of intensity and physicality, and they stayed in the game regardless of the score difference. As for us, we move forward, hoping that our injured players will return to action so we can prepare for the playoffs,” he said in his opening statement.

When asked about the recovery progress of Thomas Walkup, he replied: “He’s getting better day by day, and we’re hopeful that he’ll join practices this week.”
