Bartzokas: «We must execute the 'simple' things well»

In the press conference after Game 3 against Real Madrid in Madrid, Olympiacos' coach Giorgos Bartzokas emphasized what the team needs to do better in the next game to secure a ticket to the Final Four.
He initially stated: "Congratulations to Real, they played very tough and much better than in the first two games. For us, it was very important to play much better than we did in the second half. We lost the ball 10 times during that period, and every turnover led to transition points that we basically 'gifted.' So, we simply had to protect the ball, execute with flow and speed, and we didn’t manage to do that. That’s why we couldn’t score more than 30 points in the second half. We were very cautious. We deserved to lose the game, even though we had the chance to win it at the end."
Asked about what needs improvement in the next game: "We must not give them the ball. We need to execute better offensively. Be patient, do the basics of basketball well; set screens, pass the ball, move faster, those kinds of things."
On the health status of Evan Fournier: "I'm hopeful. He felt pain when he tried to participate in training today. He got injured in the last game in Piraeus. We hope to have him with us on Thursday. We’ll see. Day by day."
