The Serbian coach clarified: “I told my co-patriot journalists that according to some personal information, there is a chance that the Angelopoulos brothers remain with the club. I was then questioned about the financial crisis in Greece and I told them that the country is in crisis and not that the Angelopoulos brothers decided to step down due to the crisis. They have explained the reasons for their stepping down in their statement”.
As for the Olympiacos rivals for the Euroleague, Mr. Ivkovic pointed out: “When you have two Spanish teams and Fener in your group, then the group is a very tough one. However, there is not much we can say at this point. We’ll be able to say more about the group later on, when the teams will have shaped their rosters”.
