Bartzokas: «We played a serious game»
Olympiacos beat PAOK ont he road and maintained their undefeated record for the Greek League.
"Before the game we had said that we needed to be very careful with our approach", the Olympiacos' coach stressed and went on to say... "and of course, we had to manage the intensity of the court and the enthousiasm with which PAOK is always playing against Olympiacos. Under that prism, I consider we were quite serious. We played a serious game, controlled it throughout. The winner was actually decided in the 3rd quarter. From that point on, PAOK got to score many threes when the game was ending and when it had been practically decided, hence closing in on the score. They are a team that plays very well this season, they have a good coach, while the fans are also much more excited about the team this season than in previous ones. We had played a must win game on Friday and today's was on Sunday afternoon, in essensse, without having had the chance for a real practice. So, it's importnt to be serious in games like these, win them and give minutes because it's important not to exhaust players that usually bear the burden. We are now looking at the Wednesday game. I wish PAOK all the best in the Greek League and in Europe".
Asked about Sabe Lee's performance, he said: "I'm very content about it. There are no easy games for Olympiacos, because we must win all games. So, when someone helps the team to win with such a performance, he immediately is very important. At the same time, Ntilkina was out, since he had returned from an injury at the game against Paris and got a little strained out. So, good for Lee, he played a very good game and helped the team win".
About who is going to be available for the game against Crvena Zvezda, he replied: "Ntilikina will be fine. Not McKissic".
