Bartzokas: “Good team game on both ends of the floor”
Olympiacos is playing against Barcelona on Friday (14/3, 21:00 CET) for the 10th round of the Euroleague TOP-16 and Giorgos Bartzokas explains what the European Champions need to do to leave Barcelona with a victory.
“We are less quantity and quality wise without Spanoulis and Printezis. We are playing against Barcelona that remains undefeated during the TOP-16 and we need a very good team game on both ends of the floor to come through. We had decided from the beginning to look at one game at a time, so we are not looking any further than that. We are now focusing on this game to do the best we can and win. Our goal is to make the play-offs” the Greek coach has said.
On his part, Ioannis Papapetrou stressed that “we are short of players, but we are going there to win, to do the best we can. Ranking is not an issue; we are going to win the game. We need to give 100% to cover for the void of Vassilis (Spanoulis) and Giorgos (Printezis). We are not looking beyond that, we focus at one game at a time, there is only Barcelona in our minds right now and we need to see what we can accomplish in the this game”.
