A day of sorrow and memories

Thirty one years later and nothing has changed in the hearts of all those in regard to that regrettable day. The Olympiacos family has once again honored the memory of the kids unjustly lost at the annual memoriam held each year just outside of GATE 7 at the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium with the basketball team attending as well.

The President of Olympiacos BC Mr. Panagiotis Angelopoulos, the head coach Mr. Dusan Ivkovic together with the General Director Mr. Christos Stavropoulos, the technical director Mr. Milan Tomic and the players Panagiotis Vassilpoulos, Lazaros Papadopoulos, Michalis Pelekanos and Dimitris Katsivelis represented the whole team that could attend the memoriam as a whole due to the upcoming game against Peristeri.

More than four thousand fans honored with their presence the memory of the 21 kids lost, together with President of the amateur’s Club Mr. MIchalis Kountouris, the President of the Football Club Mr. Vangelis Marinakis, the football players of Olympiacos and athletes from the all the various departments.
