A victory in Germany
Olympiacos continues his undefeated streak in the friendly games played and by edgin Bamberg 96-81, made six victories in six games.
At the “Domreiter Tournament” held in Nurnberg and with 50 Greek fans in the stands, the Greek and European Champions played excellent against the German Champions, controlling the game from the beginning.
At the first half, Giorgos Bartzokas’ team took enjoyed good games from Antic, Spanoulis, Perperoglou and Printezis, controlled the score but the Germans were following closely. This changed in the beginning of the second half. The pair of Spanoulis – Perperoglou was ‘hot” the difference was of two digit marks and Olympiacos faced no problem reaching victory.

*Kyle Hines was applauded by both the Greek and German fans during the two teams’ presentation. Bamberg’s organized fans had made a banner reading: “Welcome back Kyle”. Before the game, the American never stopped signing autographs and been photographed with both the Olympiacos fans as well as those of his former team.
*Nurnberg’s Gate 7 honored the Greek and European Champion Olympiacos in the face of captain Vassilis Spanoulis. The honorary plaque and the bouquet of flowers were given to him just before the jump ball.
*During morning practice before the game, Euroleague TV was at the gym and spoke with Bartzokas, Spanoulis, Papanikolaou and Dorsey.
*In the first game of the tournament, Khimki easily beat Maccabi 80-60.
