Stavropoulos: «I wish for health and new great moments»

The General Director of Olympiacos BC, Christos Stavropoulos, spoke about the new season during Media Day.

“I welcome you to the official presentation of the team. The past couple of years, seasons ended in a fabulous fashion. I wish that we live moments like that again; I wish we remain healthy and continue abiding by the philosophy explained by our Presidents”.

Commenting on the absence from the Angelopoulos brothers from the Media Day, Christos Stavropoulos said that “they had to attend professional obligations that did not allow for their presence”.

In regard to the fact that the last League final was interrupted, the general director of Olympiacos BC said that “we have said it many times, we all saw how the League ended last season, we all saw what happened. The sport has to be protected by the authorities, whether we are talking about HEBA, the Greek Federation, or the teams. We are doing the best we can to protect the sport”.

Finally, questioned on the team policies, he replied that “it’s best that the Presidents respond to this, they are the ones to define policies, not I, so I wouldn’t want to be answering”.
