Madness over 'Thrylos'!

A pleasant surprise was waiting for the Olympiacos delegation members upon arriving at the El. Venizelos airport and just before flying out to Croatia.

About 25 students from Dusseldorf, Germany, who are in Greece with their school attending a Greek language class, met with the Greek champions.

The kids, many of who learn and talk ancient Greek, asked to take a photo with the team's players, a team that they have heard and watched so much about as they told us.

Who orchestrated all of that? Young Fabian, who adores Olympiacos and Vassilis Spanoulis. The young German went to the people of Olympiacos and asked that he and his class mates take a picture with the players while he also asked to meet his idol, but he was out of luck since the captain of the Greek Champions did not travel with the rest of the delegation to Zadar, being scheduled to travel tomorrow, Thursday.

Fabian, was not however let down and insisted on getting that photo. He was actually wearing a 'Thrylos' shirt with the name and number of his favorite player Vassilis Spanoulis.
