Warrick and Athinaiou talk about Laboral

Giannis Athinaiou and Hakim Warrick talked about the game against Laboral Kutxa for the 9th day of the Euroleague TOP16.

GIANNIS ATHINAIOU: «There is no room for losses and we need to be serious and make a new start. We will try to come back to good performing so that good results come as well. We need, through good defense, to impose our rhythm from the beginning of the game and not allow Laboral to run the open court, which they do very well as a team. What we want is through playing good defense to get the right choices in the offense as well. I think that all the guys, foreigners and Greeks, understand that we have come to a crucial point. They are all experienced players, they all understand how critical the situation is. They have all realized the significance of these games, if we want to move ahead and succeed in our goals".

HAKIM WARRICK: «I feel well. I am only a few days with the team and I definitely going to need time to adjust. But I think I'm going to be ready. I'm quite well but I can't say at what percentage my readiness is. I come from a season in Australia, I have rested for a few days, I haven't played an official game in two weeks, I think I'm in good shape and I'll do well. I know they can run the floor, they can shoot from the perimeter and they can definitely score points their team needs. So, our job will be to stop them and not allow them to do that. I have heard about the atmosphere here, before I even came, I know the fans can be awesome. I like playing in atmospheres like that and I'm looking forward to experiencing it".
